Hi BT Family! My name is Rachel (Eisenberg) Levy. I began my nursing journey working at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital with the infants and toddlers. In 2010 I graduated University of Maryland School of Nursing with my Masters in Nursing and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. After graduation I joined the corporate world and traveled for 5 years to different hospitals, helping to configure, educate, and go live with telemetry and bedside monitors. While the travel was fun, I missed working with children and began working for the school systems. I am currently a School Nurse for Baltimore County Schools, at Milbrook Elementary School. I joined the BT Camp family back in 1987 when I began attending camp as a camper. I continued my journey through and have worked at camp as a Counselor, Lifeguard, Floater and, then, after a 9-year hiatus rejoined the BT Camp Family as one of the amazing Camp Nurses. I stayed part of the Health team since, taking a summer off to enjoy time in Israel with family. My two boys, Ben and Gabe have been attending the “big camp” since the summers they turned 4 and find BT Camps to be a home. It brings me joy to be back and to be here to help care for your children while they are in camp. As I tell my school families, I will treat your children like they are my own while we are in camp. Please feel free to contact camp at any time with health concerns that you may have. I look forward to being back this summer with my “family!”
Sheryl Forman
I attended BT Camps as a camper and I love that my 2 children, Lila and Spencer, also get to spend their summers here. As a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BA in Education, I began my career teaching in Maryland. During the school year, I am a special educator for 7th and 8th graders teaching ELA. Beginning in 2018, I worked as a counselor in Travel Camp and moved up to the role of Director of Travel Camp as the years progressed. In 2023, I became the LT Unit Head. I enjoy working with our LTs to help them gain valuable leadership skills which will enable them to become a fantastic camp counselor and continue to utilize these important skills throughout their lives. As the Travel Camp Director, I enjoy planning and going on our scheduled trips. Campers get so excited to see where we are going, and they really enjoy all of the activities we have on our schedule. BT camps continues to be my summer home. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Nick and my children. Together, we enjoy bike riding, watching the kids play sports, watching movies and traveling.

Emily Levin
A native of Baltimore, Emily’s affiliation with the Beth Tfiloh family dates back to the 1970’s and encompasses the shul, school, Hebrew School, and camp. Since 2003, Emily has been a teacher at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, a place, and a job that she holds near and dear to her heart. She taught in the PreSchool for 20 years before moving on in 2023 to help teach Kindergarten in the BT Lower School, which she does currently. Over these many years, she has taught, and continues to teach, many of our campers. Emily attended BT Camps from Unit Aleph through our LT program and during her many years as a staff member, she worked in a variety areas and capacities, providing her a broad and unique perspective on the camp as a whole. In 2021, Emily became our Business Manager and shortly thereafter, also became the Assistant Director of Family Experience and Staff Engagement. In March 2024, it was a natural fit for Emily to become our Interim Director and, as of September 2024 she officially became our Camp Director. Part of Emily’s past professional profile includes managing retail establishments and medical practices. Her years of experience in these areas and her passion for all things BT, combined with her positivity, high energy, sensitivity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills make her, both, a strong asset to BT Camps and leader of our team. When she’s not working, Emily loves spending time with her husband, Scott, their children, Ryan and Shayna, and their American Cocker Spaniel, Lacie. As a family, they enjoy traveling, attending sporting events and concerts, playing tennis and pickleball, running, biking, volunteering, celebrating holidays, and getting together with other family members and friends.
