Fire building, knife skills, climbing three huge rappelling towers, caring for animals, putting up a tent, constructing a campsite, preparing and cooking food, riding ziplines, camping out under the stars… this is Survival Camp. For campers grades 5 through 8, Survival Camp is a hands-on program that will test your camper’s instinctive skills, challenging participants both physically and mentally. Survival Camp invigorates the mind and body by perfecting camping skills and taking control of the surrounding environment. Outdoor recreation activities include adventure racing, geocaching, camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, mountaineering, backpacking, fire races, climbing, and more! Survival Campers also enjoy boating and daily recreational and instructional swim. Participate in individual and team challenges designed to encourage friendships, teamwork, and confidence. Learn new campsite skills that are put to the test during overnight camp-outs at Beth Tfiloh Camps. Campers will set up their campsite, cook their own food, and sleep under the stars.
