Maddy LeMasters

Maddy LeMasters

Hi, my name is Maddy LeMasters! This will be my 2nd summer working at Beth Tfiloh Camps, and I already consider it my home away from home. I am so lucky to have become a part of such an incredible family. When camp is not in session, I work at Hampstead Elementary School as a student support assistant in the school’s autism program. In my free time, you can find me continuing my work in elementary special education, snuggled up with my pup reading whichever book caught my eye at Barnes & Noble the last time I was there, or trying a new local restaurant with family and friends. I am so excited for camp to start, and can not wait to get to work more closely with your child and our incredible staff!

Jacob Wolf

Hello! My name is Jacob Wolf. I have been coming to BT Camps every summer since 2008. Since 2018, I have been on staff as a lifeguard and teaching swimming. I’ve been a Head of Pool here at camp since 2023 and I am certified in Water Safety Instruction, Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and I’m a certified Pool Operator as well. I’m an alum of the Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School and am currently a Senior at Indiana University studying Sports Marketing and Management. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends and family, cheering on my favorite sports teams, and playing sports. I’m a huge Ravens, Orioles, and Hoosiers fan. I’m very excited to be coming back to camp!

Brady Palmer

Hello, my name is Brady Palmer and this will be my 5th year working as a lifeguard at Beth Tffiloh camps. In addition, this will be my second year as Department Head at the lake. I will be a Junior at Eastern University, where I am a psychology major and a member of the the men’s lacrosse team. Growing up, I attended Beth Tfiloh camps from 4th grade, up until my last summer which was going into 8th grade. In highschool, I played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse while also playing club lacrosse on the side. Outside of sports, I enjoy swimming, watching movies, and hanging out with friends in my free time.

Heather Ralston

Heather was born and raised in Baltimore and attended Beth Tfiloh Camp as a child. You might recognize Heather as she was a preschool teacher at Beth El and Beth Tfiloh for many years. Heather left teaching in 2014 to open Yankee Doodle, a children’s arts and crafts store.
At Yankee Doodle, Heather was able to combine two of her passions, working with children while creating arts and crafts projects. In more recent years Heather has been focused on her three young children, Logan 7 years old, Riley 5 years old and Dylan 3 years old. She is excited to be at BT Camp and looks forward to creating craft-tastic memories this summer!

Ashley Himelfarb

Hi! I’m Ashley and I’ve been at BT Camp since 1990 (when I was 4 years old). I always loved camp, especially nature, and decided that I wanted to be Bob (the head of nature at the time) when I grew up. Toward that end I became an LT, aide, instructor, and finally Department Head. I’ll never be as cool or knowledgeable as Bob but I’ve got a few decades to work on it. Outside of camp I earned a bachelors of science in biology at Bryn Mawr College and a Masters in Art of Teaching in secondary science at Salisbury University. I’m currently a high school science teacher with BCPS. On the weekends my wife (a former BT camps counselor) and I enjoy walking the goats that live at nature, hiking, cross stitching, and playing disc golf. I look forward to another great summer here at BT Camps!

Nick Meyers

Hi, I’m Nick. I have been with BT Camps since 2017 and have been the Maccabi Sports Camp Director since 2019. I have one son, who began his camp experience with BT Camps in 2021 and is very excited to return to continue his way through our programs at BT Camps. During the school year, I am a World Languages teacher, teaching both Spanish and Latin, in the Baltimore County Public School System after receiving my B.A. in Spanish and Secondary Education from Salisbury University in 2010, my M.S. in Instructional Technology from University of Maryland Global Campus in 2016, as well as an M.Ed. in School Counseling from McDaniel College. During my free time, I can be found with my son playing/coaching sports in the yard (soccer is the current favorite) along with just spending time outside with my wife and son.

Nick Forman

Nick Forman

Nick brings over 3 decades of day, travel, and overnight camping experience to BT camps. Nick has been a camper, counselor, and specialist at camps in Pittsburgh and in Baltimore, including here, at BT Camps, since 2013. Nick is a social studies teacher with the Anne Arundel County School system, and is a sports specialist at camp. During his spare time, you can find Nick spending time with his wife, Sheryl, and their kids, Lila and Spencer, often at sporting events or officiating a soccer or basketball game!

Colleen Esposito

Hi – my name is Colleen Esposito. I have been part of BT Camps summer staff since 2018. In my time at camp I have been a swim instructor, a theater camp assistant director, a theater camp counselor, and the Unit Head for Hay/Vav, where I’ll be again this summer. During the school year, I work as a theater arts and technical theater teacher in the Baltimore County Public Schools, where I have been part of the BCPS family since 2014. I love working with children in the classroom, on the stage, and at camp. At school, I direct Fall and Spring productions as well as an end of the year showcase. Watching my students progress in their love of the arts and own self-confidence is such a great joy! I have a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from McDaniel College in Theater Arts with minors in Acting, Literature, and Interactive Theatre. I also have a Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree from Towson University in secondary education, and a second Master’s of Arts in Education from Goucher College. When I am not at camp or school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my two amazing daughters, my family, and friends. Like me, my daughters also love spending their summers at BT Camps and are already looking forward to what will be another amazing summer!

Mollye Kranzler

Hi everyone! My name is Mollye Kranzler. I got married at the end of August 2024 and changed my last name!! I’ve attended BT camps every summer since 2000, when I was 4 years old, and I can’t wait for another amazing summer at my “home away from home.” During the school year, I am a 1st grade teacher in BCPS. This is my favorite age to teach and lead as this is the year when children really grow and develop foundational skills that will help them succeed academically, socially and emotionally. It is also the age where they begin to learn independence and it’s so fun and exciting watching them grow in all of these areas. I have a bachelor’s degree in human and family services and a masters degree in Early Childhood Education, both from Towson University. When I am not working, you can find me hanging out with my husband, friends and family, cheering on the Ravens, or most likely, trying to get my orange cat, Cheddar, to snuggle with me while watching Law and Order. I am so excited for another incredible summer in Unit Bet here at BT Camps!

My name is Desmond McCullough and I have been part of the BT Camps family since 2017. I graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a bachelor’s degree in biology and, then, continued my education at Tuskegee University where I earned my master’s in animal science. I love being the Aleph Unit Head and working with some of our youngest campers during the summertime. During the school year I am a high school biology teacher with Baltimore city school system. When I am not working with kids, you can catch me working with animals at an animal hospital, hanging out with my family, friends, and my 3 dogs. I am so excited for camp and for another fantastic summer in Unit Aleph.
