I graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a bachelor’s degree in biology and, then, continued my education at Tuskegee University where I earned my master’s in animal science. I love being the Aleph Unit Head and working with some of our youngest campers during the summertime. During the school year I am a high school biology teacher with Baltimore city school system. Sheryl Forman

I attended BT Camps as a camper and I love that my 2 children, Lila and Spencer, also get to spend their summers here. As a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BA in Education, I began my career teaching in Maryland. During the school year, I am a special educator for 7th and 8th graders teaching ELA. Beginning in 2018, I worked as a counselor in Travel Camp and moved up to the role of Director of Travel Camp as the years progressed. In 2023, I became the LT Unit Head. I enjoy working with our LTs to help them gain valuable leadership skills which will enable them to become a fantastic camp counselor and continue to utilize these important skills throughout their lives. As the Travel Camp Director, I enjoy planning and going on our scheduled trips. Campers get so excited to see where we are going, and they really enjoy all of the activities we have on our schedule. BT camps continues to be my summer home. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband Nick and my children. Together, we enjoy bike riding, watching the kids play sports, watching movies and traveling.

Rachel Levy

Hi BT Family! My name is Rachel (Eisenberg) Levy. I began my nursing journey working at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital with the infants and toddlers. In 2010 I graduated University of Maryland School of Nursing with my Masters in Nursing and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. After graduation I joined the corporate world and traveled for 5 years to different hospitals, helping to configure, educate, and go live with telemetry and bedside monitors. While the travel was fun, I missed working with children and began working for the school systems. I am currently a School Nurse for Baltimore County Schools, at Milbrook Elementary School. I joined the BT Camp family back in 1987 when I began attending camp as a camper. I continued my journey through and have worked at camp as a Counselor, Lifeguard, Floater and, then, after a 9-year hiatus rejoined the BT Camp Family as one of the amazing Camp Nurses. I stayed part of the Health team since, taking a summer off to enjoy time in Israel with family. My two boys, Ben and Gabe have been attending the “big camp” since the summers they turned 4 and find BT Camps to be a home. It brings me joy to be back and to be here to help care for your children while they are in camp. As I tell my school families, I will treat your children like they are my own while we are in camp. Please feel free to contact camp at any time with health concerns that you may have. I look forward to being back this summer with my “family!”
