Born and raised in Baltimore, Heather grew up spending her summers at Beth Tfiloh Camp. Before joining the BT Camps leadership team, she spent many years teaching preschool at, both, Beth El and Beth Tfiloh. In 2014, Heather opened Yankee Doodle Art Studio, a children’s arts and crafts facility where she created programming, staffing, daily operations, and community partnerships. She led the studio for five years, combining her passion for working with children with her love of creativity. After the studio closed, Heather shifted her focus to her three children—Logan, Riley, and Dylan—who are proud BT Camp campers. Heather has spent the past three summers as our Art Department Head and has served as an LT Co-Director. She brings a unique blend of operational and program development experience and a deep commitment to camper growth to her leadership at BT Camps. As both a staff member and a camp parent, she is passionate about fostering a warm, welcoming, and spirited camp environment. In her role as Associate Director, Heather is dedicated to enriching camper experiences, strengthening community connections, and supporting staff development across all areas of camp, truly continuing to make BT Camps A Great Place for Kids to Grow.
