Camp is about being with your friends. If you’re a life-long B.T. Camps’ camper, then your friends are here! If you’re coming to us for the first time, we make making friends easy.
As you get ready to begin 4th grade, our program gives you more choice. In Day Camp, you now get to choose electives! Electives are activities that focus on a single interest. Love Tennis Racquet Baseball? There’s an elective for that. Love art? There’s an elective for that, too! Grandmaster chess champion? Yea, we have an elective for that!
Head counselors for our older bunks are college upperclassmen and co-counselors are high school upperclassmen.
The power of creativity. There are no limits when it comes to your imagination.
Art Camp is led by a talented group of Art Instructors dedicated to Art Campers.
A typical day for a 4th grade Art Camp camper will include 3 periods of art, 2 swims and 1 elective as well as camp-wide specials and Shabbat Fridays.
Art Camp campers will engage in many classic and favorite camp crafts as well as some exciting new art trends. The campers will develop different skills as they learn crafts like ceramics, copper enameling, jewelry making, mosaics, macramé, stitchery, painting, papier-mâché, plaster craft, quilling, felting with wool, paper-making glass bead making, and new jewelry techniques.
Each week Art Camp focuses on two large projects and if time allows, some smaller projects.
Week 1: Ceramics | Mosaics
Week 2: Copper Enameling | Multi-Media
Week 3: Ceramics | Felt
Week 4: Glass Fusion | Beads and Wire
Week 5: Ceramics | Mosaics
Week 6: Papier Mâché | Stationery | Journals
Week 7: Ceramics | Succulent Terrarium
Week 8: Glass Fusion | Tye Dye
Specialty Camps are different from Day Camp. Instead of participating in every activity camp has to offer, campers focus on things they love the most. In J.V. Sports Camp, the day is sports, sports, sports, and more sports! Campers swim twice daily with one period of instruction and another of recreational swim.
J.V. Sports Campers are introduced to a variety of different sports, activities and games. This helps campers learn the basics of popular sports, develop new skills, and discover the sports they like best.
For half of each day, Junior Varsity Sports campers concentrate on a specific sport that changes each week. The rest of the day, campers will enjoy a variety of fun athletic activities keeping them active and continuing to develop skills.

Why Choose Us?
We’re different than other camps. Our buses come right to your door.
We’re known for our door-to-door transportation. When you register, you receive one bus stop. Tell us where it is. Most of the time this is at your house. Sometimes parents ask us to bus from their work. Where ever it is, if a location is within our normal service area, we’ll get you.
All of our buses are very modern and are maintained at a high level. We partner with Woodlawn Motorcoach to provide a fleet of over 30 buses that service Northwest Baltimore County, Howard County, and Carroll County. Each bus is driven by a professionally trained driver who is certified and adheres to Department of Transportation standards.
In addition to the driver, each bus has two dedicated bus counselors to provide supervision, support, and encourage fun during the bus ride. Bus counselors are camp staff members who are assigned to ride a single bus every day during the summer. When the bus arrive at your house in the morning and afternoon, one bus counselor gets off the bus to greet you and to help your camper board or depart the bus. The second bus counselor takes care of attendance and in the afternoons helping to wake any campers who have fallen asleep.
Our bus service offers convenience. Does your camper want to ride home to a friend’s house? Do you need your camper to go to a grandparent’s or maybe take a bus that goes to a different area? Call us by 2:30 p.m. on the day you wish to make an afternoon or next morning change and we’ll work with you to make it happen.
A staff that makes the grade.
Teachers, coaches, college grads and adults comprise an exceptional staff.
Beth Tfiloh’s superior staff includes over 200 educators and other professionals, counselors and instructional aides from dozens of different colleges and high schools. Our one-to-four ratio enables us to provide campers with both personal attention and quality instruction.
Learn to swim.
We’re renowned for our swim programs. Following Red Cross guidlines, even the most timid swimmers learn to swim.
Live vicariously through our massive collection of photos. Each day we take hundreds of photos and make them available later in the evening for campers, friends and family to view. Always free, The Gallery is the best way to see a day at camp.
Our resident photographer takes hundreds of stunning photos daily.Through these photos we wish to convey “camp” to those of us not lucky enough to be able to our amazing camp every day.
